In 1969 Milwaukee Hospital held its first diabetes education program with over 100 people attending. Physicians, student nurses, and hospital dietitians, including Mrs. Ann Agee, Therapeutic Dietitian (second from left) presented at the talk. Mrs. Agee also appeared on WITI-TV6 and the Milwaukee Journal radio station to talk about artificially sweetened food and diabetes.
