Aurora Sinai Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI: Family and friends of Dr Sidney P Hurwitz at an open house on November 7, 2016, at the Aurora Sinai Medical Center Hurwitz Medical Library. The event celebrated the 100 year anniversary of Dr Sidney P Hurwitz’s birth. Hurwitz, a Milwaukee native, was a member of the executive committee at Mount Sinai Hospital and a chef of urology. After Hurwitz’s death in 1968, the medical community established the Sidney P Hurwitz Memorial Library Fund, which subsidizes the purchase of clinical materials for the library.
